The two of us represent a wide range of photographic backgrounds and techniques. Both of us have experienced photography from the standpoint of academic fine art photography as well as freelance commercial shooting. Drawing on both realms gives us the know-how to capture the important shots while also being able to focus on the important technical aspects of the image. Why two photographers? Simply put, the two of us work in tandem to make sure nothing is missed. When shooting a wedding we want to provide you with full coverage from start to finish and in that way provide you with lasting memories for yourself, family, and friends for years to come.

education: B.A. Studio Arts & B.A. Art History Mark’s interest in photography began during his time in high school. His introduction to the medium was through black and white film classes and his father’s old 35mm SLR. After high school, Mark’s interest lay in hobby shooting until he enrolled in the art department at The University of Colorado at Boulder. From there he has explored the realm of fine art photography as well as freelance shooting. scott lawan
